Thao Le has taught the Vietnamese language since 2013. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Studies from the Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City. She holds a Teaching Vietnamese as a Second Language Certificate and a Teaching Methodologies Certificate from the University of Pedagogy of Hanoi. She has received multiple annual Excellence in Teaching awards from other language companies she has worked for over the years. Her wide array of experience ensures that your Vietnamese lessons are personally tailored to meet your needs.
My Story
As a Vietnamese teacher, I know that my role is more than just teaching the language. I want to share the rich history, culture, and customs of my country with my students. It wasn't always easy, but seeing their excitement and curiosity made it all worth it. Over time, I saw how my lessons brought ease to their lives whether it was navigating the streets of Ho Chi Minh City or understanding the nuances of Vietnamese cuisine. Teaching is more than just a job to me, it is also a way to connect with my students and share the beauty of my culture with the world.
Since 2013, I've had the privilege of teaching people from all over the world. My students have included government officials from the US and Australian consulates, executives from large Asian corporations such as Samsung and CJ International, foreign exchange students, travelers from all over the world, and Vietnamese people from other countries who wanted to reconnect with their native language. For me, the greatest reward has been the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my students, whether it's helping them achieve their language goals or simply sharing in their journey of personal growth. I'm grateful for every moment I've spent with my students, and I look forward to many more years of teaching.
